I think she would be proud

Next week, on Monday I go to Kansas City for 30 hours. Yes, that's it - 30 hours.
I am going so that I can attend the last Board of Directors meeting for Friendship House/Catherine's Place. Specifically, q quorum is needed at this meeting to dissolve the 501(c)(3) that is the umbrella organization, Women's 12- Step Recovery, Inc. The two houses still exist; a wonderful organization has bought them and is committed to renovating Friendship House and keeping true to both our missions.

The two missions are as follows: 

The Mission of ReDiscover is to deliver mental health and substance abuse services to help individuals and families achieve healthier and more productive lives.

The Mission of Friendship House/Catherine's Place is to provide a dignified environment for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, and their children, to learn to live sober and to become economically self- reliant. FH/CP primarily serves women in the Kansas City metropolitan areas of Jackson, Wyandotte, Clay, Platte, Leavenworth, Johnson and Cass counties.
